Jorge Padilla is a Swarthmore College graduate professionally trained in classical voice with a focus on vocal performance. Jorge has performed in concerts and opera productions in the United States as well as internationally, having sung an eclectic range of musical styles and genres. Jorge is also an independent singer-songwriter and music producer with original songs on multiple streaming platforms amassing several thousands of streams around the world.
Jorge Padilla currently sings as bass section leader at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Swarthmore, providing musical leadership and assistance in the choir. Additionally, Jorge sings with the Epiphany Singers, a high-caliber non-profit choral ensemble of young artists in Philadelphia. On the side, Jorge has taken up freelancing as a voice actor. Jorge has narrated an audiobook, has sung a jingle for Oddjob Hats, and has been cast as an actor for the NBCUniversal Creative Impact Lab Series commercial praised for his clear diction and resonant voice.
Jorge Padilla is excited to be a part of Breaking the Barrier School of Music and is now offering instruction for voice (singing), piano, and music theory to students of all ages.
