Kids Music Day!
BTB will be participating in the 8th annual kids music day this year! We are partnering with Keep Music Alive for the exciting event. Keep Music Alive joins with music schools, stores, and other music organizations around the world to help focus attention on the importance of including music as part of children’s education.
When: October 6th
What: Bring a friend to lessons with you to celebrate Kids Music Day!
Aston Community Day
Join us as we participate in community festivities! The day will start with the BTB crew drumming away in a parade. Then take a look around to see if you can find our groups performing, instrument petting zoo and more! There will also be free rides sponsored by Bette’s Bounces, games, food, drinks and contests for everyone to enjoy.

Media’s Fall Fest
Media will be alive with a mix of food, music, artists, crafters, nonprofits and family fun. BTB will feature some acoustic duos, bucket drum jams and more!

Santa Clause is Coming to Town
Santa Clause is coming to Breaking the Barrier School of Music. Reserve your spot today to meet Santa and have your picture taken with him by our very own Jennifer Purcell who not only teaches our Little Kids Big Voices classes but is also a photographer. Here are the details:

Little Kids BIG Voices
Join Breaking the Barrier School of Music on Tuesday mornings for our Little Kids BIG voices class. Little Kids BIG Voices is designed for children ages 6 months to 6 years old to explore music through a fun and interactive class.
The class is taught by Jennifer Purcell who is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Psychology and has been working with Autism Spectrum children for the past 10 years. Jennifer brings her unique love and passion for music together with her teaching and therapy skills. Visit Jennifer’s page to learn more.
Summer Band Jam Camp
Our band jam camps wrapped up for the summer but what a great time! Students had the opportunity to learn how to play various instruments in a group setting with a final performance at the end of the week. We look forward to seeing everyone again next summer. Make sure to keep an eye out for dates for the 2024 summer band camps.
