No. We provide instruments for student use during lessons and classes.

Instructors will offer suggestions regarding instrument and equipment purchases. 

Breaking the Barrier School of Music accepts all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
Please make checks payable to "Breaking the Barrier School of Music"

Students who pay monthly will save $60 a year and receive 4 lessons a month.

We suggest private lessons begin at age 5. We do understand each child matures at a different rate and suggest scheduling a consultation lesson to ensure your child will reach the fullest potential with our instructors.

We recommend our Baby Beats class for children ages birth-2 years and our Tots Tunes class for children 2-5 years to develop their musical skills.

Yes, we offer a variety of lesson formats for adult students. From individual lessons to whole group master classes, there is sure to be something for everyone!

Yes, we currently offer two recitals for students to demonstrate their progress during lessons as well as other opportunities throughout the year.

• All lesson cancellations must be directed through individual teachers.
• If a students cancel their lessons with at least 24 hours notice,  makeup lessons can be scheduled with their teacher.
• An absence without sufficient notice will not be given a makeup lesson. *Teachers may choose to provide a make-up lesson at their discretion.
• Makeup lessons have no cash value.

The music school is closed  Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th (Independence Day), Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.

*Your teacher may choose to schedule lessons to make up days that the studio is closed for holidays and breaks.
