Angela Thornton is a recent graduate of Temple University, earning her B.A. in Music Education with a vocal concentration in May, 2026. She values the experiences she had in her early musicianship and can’t wait to provide the same for others.
In school, Angela participated in choir, orchestra, band, and musical theater throughout her childhood. Through college, she expanded her passions through Temple University’s Concert Choir, A cappella singing, and attending PMEA and ACDA conferences. She has performed at the Kimmel Center, and has traveled to Florida, Delaware, and Ohio for notable works. Outside of her studies, she enjoys performing with Upper Darby Summer Stage, learning new instruments, and dancing.
Angela’s passions in music education are to provide enjoyable and memorable experiences for every student. She believes all students should learn how to make music, and is thrilled for the opportunity she has to guide them. Music is a vital part in a student’s development and Angela has the drive to encourage students to try. She intends to create a safe and inclusive space for students to try new things, take risks, and evolve their musicianship at their own pace.
Angela offers instruction in voice / singing, strings, piano, guitar, ukulele, brass, woodwinds, percussion, and music theory. Contact BTB today to schedule a lesson with Angela.
