Cole Steiner is a dedicated percussionist and emerging music educator currently studying Jazz Performance at Temple University. Throughout his musical journey, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, serving as Pit Captain at Ridley High School and inspiring fellow musicians through his commitment and passion for music.
Cole’s accomplishments include being selected for the prestigious Kimmel Center Jazz Program, where he performed as First Chair Drum Set. He was also honored with the distinguished Neil Peart Drum Set Award through PASIC (Percussive Arts Society International Convention) and remains an active member of the organization.
As a performing musician, Cole has shared the stage with renowned Philadelphia-area jazz artists including Mike Boone, Orrin Evans, and Terell Stafford. These experiences have helped shape his musicianship and deepened his appreciation for the power of music education.
Cole believes that every child possesses a unique musical gift. Whether that talent is immediately apparent or still waiting to be discovered, he is passionate about helping students develop their skills, build confidence, and find joy through music. His teaching philosophy centers on the belief that music is a skill that anyone can learn with dedication, encouragement, and the right guidance.
